v3.0.4 Released NovemDownload: Windows Mac (.dmg) Mac (.pkg) Changes from v3.0. We’re working on some larger, longer-term improvements for the end of the year. here is my opinion on this version 3.0.3. Hello Everyone We have a smaller release for y’all this week, and there will be no release next week. The impression that nothing has really been settled or is it me who sees nothing? Are we writing in a vacuum on this forum? I’m asking because I don’t feel like we really take into account what we write to the TVEAI team… it’s just my impression. Between 3.0.2 and this new version I really don’t see any difference. Proteus is the same, too bad the quality of these models are in losses. The artemis model is frankly not excellent. The downside being it’s not a plug-in and it’s slow. the encoding speed is still very slow, this problem will have to be remedied quickly since the official release of this version 3. Video Enhance AI can be used as a standalone noise reduction engine and a very good one at that. Still we can’t choose where to put the old models on this version 3 as a lot of people ask here, and it’s better to put the list of models back so that we can choose the model we want ourselves. In this totally unscientific observation that's pretty amazing considering that Topaz Video Enhance is an Intel application running under Rosetta2.My impression on this new version, still the problem of the preview during video encoding which does not scroll when encoding the video export. It was using around 138% CPU and around 75% GPU according to Activity Monitor. 78 seconds while the M1 was ranging between. My intel MBP was processing these frames at about. I picked an old SD interlaced video that I've wanted to upconvert and had the two machines running side by side converting the same range of frames. I compared it to my 2017 Macbook Pro 15" with the Radeon Pro 560 4GB graphics card using latest, non-Universal version. One program I tried since it's VERY heavy GPU intensive was Topaz Video Enhance AI. I got the Macbook Pro with 16GB of RAM M1 Model. I just got my M1 yesterday so like everyone it's been two days of reinstalling software, moving over settings files, etc.
